As news of the first case of COVID-19 is reported in Stark County, we wanted to share some of our standard operating procedures to exceed the required methods of sanitation set by the Ohio Cosmetology and Barber Board, as well as the additional actions being taken to ensure the safety and health of both our Scott Talbot SalonSpa team and our clients.
We’ve always taken great pride in our clean and well-run salons, and we know this is more important than ever right now. In addition to maintaining all methods of sanitation outlined by the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology and Barber Board, and on top of our daily cleaning procedures, we have implemented an all-day cleaning schedule at both locations that includes using sanitizer and cleaners capable of killing 99.9% of germs. Additionally, employees have been educated on how COVID-19 spreads, and we will be following the suggested policies provided by the CDC. Additionally, as owners, we will be following both CDC and Ohio Department of Health guidelines, adjusting protocol as necessary based on updated recommendations from both agencies.
We will continue to communicate with our team and our clients to continue to keep health and safety as our main priority. If you are not feeling well at the time of your scheduled appointment, please consider rescheduling as we are asking our employees to put their health first, as well. As always, if you have any questions, please send us a message or give us a call (Canton – 330.494.2030; Green – 330.896.3476).
